Tell me about yourself!
I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee, currently playing for the UH club team. I like to play all types sports and like to go crabbing. I love all types of music and open to new music.

How did you know about ASDA and why did you choose ASDA?
I knew ASDA through Cat's Back. ASDA has so many opportunities, and it was a great way to surround myself with others with the same passion for dentistry.

What is your favorite topic to talk about?
Frisbee and Food

How did you know about ASDA and why did you choose ASDA?
I found out about ASDA from a flyer I saw when I was in my freshman year, and I chose to go since I wanted to see what other healthcare clubs offered at UH and I heard ASDA had a great shadowing program. As soon as I saw the dedication and effort members and officers had I was convinced I wanted to pursue a career in Dentistry with like minded individuals!

What is your favorite topic to talk about?
I love talking about music!

Hello! I’m from Cypress, TX, and a first generation student here at UH. I enjoy spending my time playing sports with friends and family, playing in an orchestra, and learning new skills (currently trying to crochet and learn more French).

How did you know about ASDA and why did you choose ASDA?
I found ASDA on social media my senior year of high school. As a first gen I was nervous over how I would manage to make my future career come true, and started researching early. ASDA looked very welcoming, supportive, and rich in resources which is why I chose to enroll my freshman year. I am beyond grateful for ASDA for giving me opportunities, a family, and helping me grow into the person I am today.

What is your favorite topic to talk about?
I love giving good kdrama recs. Name the genre and let me know :)

Hi! I love playing some comfort tunes on my guitar or ukulele, curling up to read some good books, and spending time with my family, dogs, and friends.

How did you know about ASDA and why did you choose ASDA?
My older sister was incredibly active in ASDA when she was in college and would tell me all about it, knowing I wanted to pursue dentistry. With all of the opportunities given, like the dental shadowing program, volunteer events, and community outreaches, joining this organization was one of the best things I could do for myself. The guidance provided from my peers has been so helpful and I’m very grateful.

What is your favorite topic to talk about?
I could talk about books for ages! I love giving and receiving recommendations, as well as just talking about each of our experiences with different genres of books.

Tell me about yourself!
I become obsessed with a new hobby every few months (recently: making beats, running, guitar, and boxing), and I want to try everything in life once, so spontaneity is the way to go. I’m also terrible with names but eventually I will get to know everyone in ASDA.

How did you know about ASDA and why did you choose ASDA?
I kind of joined ASDA by accident. I stumbled into an officer’s office hours last year and he told me to come to a meeting. I stayed because of the amazing people and huge opportunities. Joining this community was easily the best decision I made.

What is your favorite topic to talk about?
I can ramble on about magic forever.

Tell me about yourself!
Hey there! I enjoy cooking, reading, tv shows/ movies, and anything to do with espionage. Recently, I picked up volleyball and badminton, albeit I’m pretty mediocre at both. I’m also a fan of trying new things whether it be food or hobbies, so I’m always down for recommendations. :)

How did you know about ASDA and why did you choose ASDA?
I found out about ASDA through their social media and a friend’s cousin who was involved in the org! I’m incredibly grateful I did because ASDA is welcoming and supportive while supplying a wealth of information and opportunities. It has also changed the trajectory of my pre-dental career and taught me so much about myself!

What is your favorite topic to talk about?
I love meeting new people and talking about their experiences. Books and advice (giving and receiving) really get me going.

Hello I’m from Houston, TX and am a graduate! I love running, reading, and traveling! I love cats, especially my cat Lulu. I really enjoy spending time with my friends and one of my favorite things to do is go to concerts!

How did you know about ASDA and why did you choose ASDA?
I learned about ASDA at the end of my sophomore year of college. I have taken a non-traditional/ late start to my pre-dental journey and ASDA has been an amazing resource and guiding light for me. I am so grateful for this club and the people I have met as a result. Joining ASDA was one of the most rewarding and best decisions I’ve ever made in college, and I guarantee it’s a gift that never stops giving!

What is your favorite topic to talk about?
Any type of reality tv. I am a huge tv show binger and my fellow officers can attest to my current Season 6 Love Island USA obsession. I also love other shows like KUWTK and Vanderpump rules.

I transferred from Texas State to UH last semester, and have been able to do so much at UH in just that little time. I enjoy exploring new things with my friends, doing dental work on homeless people at HHH, and holding events with Sigma Nu.

How did you know about ASDA and why did you choose ASDA?
I knew of ASDA from Texas State and knew that UH had to have one, little did I know it was one of the biggest ASDA chapters in Texas! I chose to join to build my network, and a community on campus.

What is your favorite topic to talk about?
Currently I wont shut up about how to go to dental school for free (and Love Island, thanks Zenah).

Hi there!! I’m from Klein, TX and am excited to be ASDA’s webmaster this year! I’m an art aficionado & jazz listener who loves going to art museums and drawing whenever I can. In my free time, I love playing badminton and, most recently, pickleball! I'm also obsessed with making spotify playlists; I currently have 70+ playlists.

How did you know about ASDA and why did you choose ASDA?
I found out about ASDA through social media and decided to join in the fall of my freshmen year. I really loved how organized and information-packed every meeting was! I learned a lot about being a pre-dental student and ASDA definitely solidified my passions in dentistry.

What is your favorite topic to talk about?
I love talking about true crime/cults, they’re very interesting stories to talk about for sure!!

How did you know about ASDA and why did you choose ASDA?
During my freshmen year, I joined ASDA based on a recommendation of a friend. To be honest, I have never considered pursuing in the field of dentistry in my life. However, my thoughts change once I joined ASDA. Joining ASDA gave me the opportunity to learn more about dentistry and be part of a welcoming community of other pre-dental students as well. Not only that, I have made such lifelong friendships during my time in this organization. ASDA has provided many resources that gave me a sense of guidance in my pre-dental journey.

What is your favorite topic to talk about?
My favorite topic to talk about is anything and everything. I love getting to meet new people and learning about them!
