ASDA Pre-Dental Chapter at the

University of Houston

Mission Statement

The American Student Dental Association Pre-Dental Chapter at the University of Houston is an organization that serves to educate students about the field of dentistry. We strive to inspire our members to pursue a dental profession and guide them to success. Members will listen to experienced guest speakers, volunteer within our community, promote cultural diversity in the dental profession, and shadow local general dentists and specialists. As a nationally recognized ASDA Pre-Dental chapter since 2016, we offer a multitude of opportunities to connect with other ASDA chapters locally, regionally, and nationally. 

Serve

Our community service events include volunteering with the Houston Food Bank, Project C.U.R.E., Texas Mission of Mercy, and more. Students will understand the value of service and its connection to dentistry.

Connect

We are here to help students connect with each other as well as the dental profession! We hold a variety of socials, intramural sports events, bake sales, and workshops throughout the semester.  

Learn

As an ASDA Pre-Dental Chapter, we learn more about the pre-dental to dentist journey through bimonthly guest speakers (dental students, dental school admission officers, and others) and more.
